Lindsay Lohan Breaks Into BeautyRiot.com's Beauty Icons of the Month

Lindsay Lohan edged out Jennifer Lopez to join the three most popular beauty icons among online women, according to BeautyRiot.com. Jessica Simpson, Jessica Alba and Lohan drew the most interest from women seeking hairstyles and makeup inspiration and ideas, measured by user stats from the celebrity beauty and hairstyles Web site in May 2005.

This month's Beauty Icon roster could be called, "The Battle of the Bottle Blondes." Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Alba have recently gone blonde like fellow Icon, Jessica Simpson. At number one, Simpson's shorter shoulder-length hairstyle continued to be by far the most popular hairdo with BeautyRiot.com's users. Jessica Alba maintained second place with her previously long, brunette locks drawing the most interest of all her looks. Lindsay Lohan debuted on the Beauty Icon list, and even though she is a recent blonde, her previously cinnamon-red haircolor was more popular."It's certainly no surprise to see Lindsay Lohan make the Beauty Icon list," said BeautyRiot.com's editor in chief, Kirsten Lambertsen. "She is hot, hot, hot right now. All three beauties on the list represent a strong, personal sense of style, and that resonates with today's woman."

Among BeautyRiot.com's remaining Beauty Icons, fourth place went to Jennifer Lopez, and Ashlee Simpson came in fifth, bumping out Jennifer Aniston. Statistics were gathered from over 582,000 users and over seven million pageviews at BeautyRiot.com in May 2005. Visitors to the site can view photos and hairstyles of over 75 different celebrities.
